Bankroll management is one of the most talked about concepts in poker. Many up-and-coming players are often interested in building their bankroll to play higher stakes and bigger games. Other players are looking to protect their bankroll to avoid having to play smaller games or potentially go broke! Either way, we should always be evaluating the games we are playing in and what kind of theoretical win rate we have. 

In this video, I wanted to discuss the differences between online and live games in regards to bankroll management. In online games, not only are they typically tougher games, but play also moves quicker. Add in the option of playing multiple games at once, and one can quickly see how a bigger bankroll is required to play the same stakes online versus live. I’ve always used a more conservative bankroll management strategy in online games and would recommend that to all players.
