BetMGM Poker Heart Season Championship: April 5-19

What better way to celebrate spring than with a juicy online poker tournament series? The Heart Championship will fill the tournament tables at BetMGM Poker with players in New Jersey, Michigan, and Pennsylvania, as they vie for leaderboard points, championship titles, and pieces of that $3,000,000 guaranteed.

Massive Heart Online Championship Series Schedule

The full Heart Online Championship schedule is already posted in the tournament lobby on BetMGM Poker. There are 71 events in total, each with a guarantee. The majority of the tournament buy-ins are $100, with a number of $250 and $500 options in the mix, and even a $2,500 Super High Roller for kicks. The series launches on Sunday, April 5 with five (5) tournaments, and there are several each day moving forward until it wraps with seven (7) events on Sunday, April 19.

Series Highlights with Trophies

Quite a few of the tournaments in the Heart Championship series will reward winners with trophies – nineteen (19) of them to be exact. And a few of those even have six-figure guarantees:

• Event 34:  $1,000 buy-in Championship (two days) ($350,000 guaranteed)
• Event 66:  $250 buy-in Sunday Main ($100,000 guaranteed)
• Event 67:  $2,500 buy-in Super High Roller (two days) ($350,000 guaranteed)

Satellites Start at Just $2

When we create a series for everyone, we mean that everyone has the chance to participate, regardless of their poker bankrolls. The buy-ins for Heart Championship can be steep for many players, so the satellite options provide ample opportunities to earn seats to those events at a fraction of the buy-ins.

Every event on the schedule offers satellites, many for just $2 or $5. Simply click on the Heart Championship tournament you’d like to play, go to the satellites tab, and check out the qualifying options for just pennies on the dollar.

Those satellites and qualifiers are already running daily, and they start at just $5. For example, the step satellites for Event 34, the $1,000 Championship with its $350,000 guaranteed prize pool. Players can have several step options, as follows:

• Step 1 Express:  $5 buy-in to win $100 satellite ticket
• Step 1:  $2 buy-in to win $10 satellite ticket
• Step 2:  $10 buy-in (or ticket) to win $100 satellite ticket
• Step 3:  $100 buy-in (or ticket) to win $1,000 Championship entry

Alternatively, there are direct satellites with a $25 buy-in to win that $1,000 seat.

There are also step satellites to win seats into Event 67, the $2,500 buy-in Super High Roller. For the majority of players who cannot afford that buy-in, step satellites offer another way to do it:

• Step 1:  $2 buy-in to win $25 satellite ticket
• Step 2:  $25 buy-in (or ticket) to win $250 satellite ticket
• Step 3:  $250 buy-in (or ticket) to win $2,500 Super High Roller entry

Again, there are also direct satellites for $25 to win a $2,500 seat.

Heart Championship Package Satellites

This is a special group of satellites running April 4-18 to kick off the Heart Online Championship with prize packages. There will be several options to win multiple tournament tickets at once, and keep an eye open in case more are added.

• April 4, 5, 7, 9, 14, 15:  $100 satellite to win $850 in entries ($100, $250, and $500 entries)
• April 4, 5, 18:  $25 satellite to win $450 in entries ($100, $100, and $250 entries)
• April 5:  $50 satellite to win $850 in entries ($100, $250, and $500 entries)

Heart Leaderboard Challenge

In addition to the $3,000,000 in event guarantees, all players in the series qualify to compete in the Heart Leaderboard challenge. By cashing in any of the events, players earn points, which add up from April 5-19.

When the Heart Championship is complete, the top players from the series will share in $15,000 in prize money, with the first-place finisher winning $5,000 of it.

Heart Season Pass for Cash Game Players

Tournaments appear to dominate much of the Heart Season action, but a big part of the excitement is at the cash game tables as well. And it runs throughout much of the season (April 3 through June 17). Simply opt in to the Heart Season Pass promotion and start playing the cash games of your choice. As you earn BRPs (BetMGM Reward Points), you will move up in tiers and compete for weekly bonuses.
