Lavin, a Yardley, Pennsylvania resident, returned to poker during the COVID-19 pandemic. He quickly turned casual play into professional results accumulating 17 online rings, three WSOP bracelets, and four BetMGM leaderboard titles. During the 2025 WSOP, he took down the $1,500 No-Limit Texas Hold’em Shootout for a career-high cash of $267,000 and a gold bracelet.
