BetMGM Powers Fall Poker at Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa with Three Marquee Events and New Tournament Room

Borgata Big, Big Buy Series, Lions of the Atlantic, and Borgata Fall Poker Open highlight BetMGM and Borgata’s expanded online to live poker ecosystem

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (August 27, 2025) – Following the highly successful Borgata Sumer Poker Open Powered by BetMGM which attracted over 9,590 total entries and paid out over $5.5 million in total prize pools, BetMGM Poker and Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa announced today three marquee fall poker events – Borgata Big, Big Buy Series, Lions of the Atlantic and the Borgata Fall Poker Open. BetMGM Poker powers all of the events as the exclusive platform to qualify and register online and will offer same-day, real-time registration through the BetMGM Poker app.

Borgata and BetMGM will unveil a cross-branded poker room and a dedicated tournament space on Sunday, Sept. 7 during an exclusive VIP Deck Cutting Party. The BetMGM Poker Tournament Room at Borgata has 18 tables and showcases the growth of the partnership and the online-to-live ecosystem of MGM Resorts International and BetMGM.

Borgata Big, Big Buy Series powered by BetMGM (September 8 – September 17): Borgata Big, Big Buy Series is a new addition to Borgata Poker’s schedule with nine main events and over $6.5 million in guarantees. It includes some of the following events:

The Big, Big Kick Off (Sept. 8-9): A $2,200 event with just two Day 1 flights and a $1,000,000 guarantee.
Etay’s Big, Big 9 Game Mix (Sept. 9 – 10): A $2,500 buy-in with a $250,000 guarantee event with Esther ‘ETay’ Taylor. Over the summer Taylor became only the second woman WSOP’s history to reach the final table at the Poker Players Championship.
The Big, Big PKO Bounty (Sept. 10-11): A Progressive Knock Out Bounty with a half-a-million guarantee – splitting the $2,200 buy-in and the PKO Bounty, stacking cash chips high on the tables and filling player pockets simultaneously.
The BetMGM Big, Big Baller (Sept. 11 – 12): A $10,000 buy-in with a $500,000 guarantee where entry fees will be covered by BetMGM Poker via credit to players’ online accounts.

The BetMGM Poker Millionaire Championship (Sept. 13 – 17): An event with a $3 million guarantee and an additional $1 million guaranteed to the first-place winner. BetMGM will be running multiple satellites from $10 through Sept. 14.

BetMGM Poker players in New Jersey, Michigan and Pennsylvania can win seats to Borgata’s Big, Big Buy Series from August 12- September 15 through exclusive online qualifiers. BetMGM Poker will also host nightly step qualifiers for a variety of Big, Big Buy Series Events, with buy-ins starting at as little as $5. Online registration is also available for a majority of the events exclusively through BetMGM Poker.

Borgata will offer four on-site qualifiers in the days leading up to the Series (Sept. 5-7). Players can choose their own adventure or take down a Double Play, giving players the option to participate in the Big, Big Kick Off, the Big, Big PKO Bounty or both. The last opportunity to qualify on site will shuffle up on Friday, Sept. 12. This Big, Big Qualifier guarantees 25 seats to the BetMGM Millionaire Championship where one player will become the Champion and a Millionaire.

Lions of the Atlantic powered by BetMGM (October 8 – October 19): Another new addition to the fall schedule, Lions of the Atlantic is the first cross property event combining MGM National Harbor and Borgata players in the same field. The event, a $600 buy-in, $2 million guarantee, begins across five starting flights at MGM National Harbor and continues with five additional starting flights at Borgata. National Harbor Day 1 flights will take place Oct. 8 – 12 and Borgata Day 1 flights will take place Oct. 14 – 17. Players that bag for Day 2 will be deep in the money with play resuming at Borgata on Saturday, Oct. 18. Every Day 2 seat includes a 2- night stay, Friday and Saturday (Oct. 17-18) at Borgata.

Online Qualifiers will be available to Borgata Day 1 Flights starting from $5 on Sept. 1.

Borgata Fall Poker Open powered by BetMGM (November 3 – November 17). The announcement of the first Fall Poker Open in more than five years solidifies Borgata’s prestigious Poker Open lineup, adding this cornerstone series and completing the annual schedule for four seasons of Poker Opens players crave – Winter, Spring, Summer and now, Fall. The full schedule for this signature series will be released in late September with over $2 million in guarantees.

Borgata Big, Big Buy Series, Lions of the Atlantic and the Borgata Fall Poker Open will be reported to the GPI Index & Hendon Mob. Additional announcements will be released on BetMGMPoker.com.
