Abby Merk Joins BetMGM Poker as Brand Ambassador and Content Partner

Recent winner of Rising Star in Content Creation at the Global Poker Awards

JERSEY CITY, NJ (March 19, 2025) – BetMGM, a leading sports betting and iGaming operator, announced today an exclusive partnership with Abby Merk that will make the professional poker player and award-winning content creator a BetMGM Poker ambassador and content partner. She will participate in select in-person poker events and create content across various social media platforms. Merk won Rising Star in Content Creation at the Global Poker Awards in February.

Merk, a 24-year-old Chicago resident, left her career in finance and started playing poker professionally and posting regular content. In February 2025, she won the Rising Star in Content Creation at the Global Poker Awards. She travels the world playing poker and has over 100,000 followers across YouTube and Instagram. She will bring her passion for poker and an authentic player voice to in-person poker events at MGM Resorts International properties and produce various forms of content on BetMGM Poker-owned social channels.
