The 2025 Borgata Fall Poker Open rolled towards the $2,700 BFPO Main Event with a $1 million guarantee in the second week of the Series. Players have won over $2 million since the first event and the player-created $1,200 Main Event Warm Up brought out an excited field.
Filippos Stavrakis continued his campaign to have the Mixed Game Series named after him and the Monster Mirror Mystery Bounty saw a near-even chop.
You Want It, You Got It – Main Event Warmup
BetMGM Poker brass and players got together and developed the $1,200 Main Event Warmup for the Fall Poker Open schedule. Players put their money where their mouth was and generated 237 entrants for a $260,700 prizepool.
Mike Dentale leads the Day 2 field from Flight B and he jumped in the event immediately after taking eighth place in the Progressive Knock Out Bounty event on Thursday afternoon.
Flight A started at noon and drew 123 entrants and advanced ten, Flight B kicked off at 4 p.m. with 114 entrants, and they also advanced ten players. But the evening flight played until dawn to reach the stopping point and the Day 2 restart was pushed back two hours to accommodate those players.
Each returning player has $3,600 locked up. A trip to the final table earns $6,050 and the winner walks with a mini-Borgata glass trophy and $54,000.

Alan Nosonchuk Wins Progressive Knock Out Bounty
Two days and four flights attracted 456 entrants midweek for Event 9: $880 Progressive Knock Out Bounty and 59 players returned for Thursday’s Day 2. Alan Nosonchuk spent ten hours on the felt before negotiating a deal that saw him hoist the trophy.
“It was an amazing event, I played great,” Nosonchuk said. “I ran decent for once and finally got one (a win).”
“I love bounty events – they’re my favorite type of tournament,” he continued. “There are 50/50 spots that become must calls with bounties in play. There are more cashes coming, I’ll be here Friday for the Main Event.”
The final table played down until Joseph Nichols was eliminated in fifth place. Then Nosonchuk, Angel Lopez, Rick Rossetti, and Brian Luo entered into negotiations for a chop. The five-figure bounties the players held at the time were a large motivating factor leading to a round of handshakes.
Coleem Chestnut made his second final table of the Series after taking ninth in the Almighty Stack for $11,760. Mike Dentale recorded his 71st Borgata cash and South Florida’s Ricardo Eyzaguirre picked up his 17th.
