It’s going to be bigger than big. It’s not enough to call it a big series, so Borgata in Atlantic City calls it the Big Big Series powered by BetMGM Poker. It’s the live tournament series “for players, by players,” and it will feature more than $6,000,000 in guarantees over the course of just 14 events this September.

And to add to the excitement, it will be the one-year anniversary of the BetMGM Poker Tournament Room at Borgata!

The Borgata Big Big Series is Set For September 13-22

While Borgata was wrapping up and recovering from its massive 2026 Summer Poker Open in late July, Director of Poker Operations Kellie deCelis was already posting on social media about the Big Big Series. Needless to say, Borgata and BetMGM Poker are both excited for this year’s Big Big.

The series will run for 10 days – September 13-22 – and offer more than $6,000,000 in guarantees.

2026 Big Big Schedule

There are 14 tournaments on this year’s schedule (a printable version is available on Borgata’s website). The full lineup will be as follows:

  • Event 9 (Sept 18):  $1,100 Big Big One Day Shot Clock Turbo ($100,000 guaranteed)
  • Event 10 (Sept 19-23):  $5,300 BetMGM Poker Big Big Championship (3 flights, $3,000,000 guaranteed)
  • Event 11 (Sept 19):  $600 Big Big 2nd Chance Championship Qualifier (15 seats guaranteed)
  • Event 12 (Sept 20):  $600 Big Big Last Chance Championship Qualifier (10 seats guaranteed)
  • Event 13 (Sept 22):  $5,100 Big Big BetMGM Series Saver Survivor (3 winners guaranteed, 1 in 10 win $50,000, entry fees covered by BetMGM)
  • Event 14 (Sept 22):  $1,100 Big Big Bye Finale ($100,000 guaranteed)

Note that three of the events (in italics) are qualifiers, and there is one major championship event (in bold). And two of the events will have the entry fees covered by BetMGM Poker.

Also, BetMGM Poker Ambassador Esther “E-Tay” Taylor is hosting Event 3, the nine-game mix that she introduced last year. It is said that her mixed game enthusiasm is unmatched, and she will be bringing her A-game to this year’s event as well.

Extra Poker Available 

Of course, Borgata will be offering cash games around the clock, as per usual, but there are some other tournaments to play alongside the Big Big Series. 

• September 17:  $1,000 Big Big Baller Shootouts 12 p.m. – 6 p.m. with no entry fee
• September 17-21:  $500 No Limit Hold’em Super Turbos every night at 7:45 p.m.

Big Big Stay & Play Bonus

For players who want to visit and stay for the entire series, there is a deal offered by Borgata. Book 10 nights (September 13-23) by August 29 for just $999 plus taxes and resort fees.
