The Borgata Spring Poker Open Is Set For April 23 – May 8

It’s baaack! The Borgata has recovered from the Winter Poker Open, and preparations are well underway for the Spring Poker Open. But you don’t have to wait until the first day of action (April 23) to get in the mood for BSPO, as satellites are available right now on BetMGM Poker.

First, let’s dive into the nuts and bolts of the series.

2026 Borgata Spring Poker Open Schedule Highlights

The lineup is jam-packed with tournaments of all poker variations, buy-ins, and guarantees, but these are some of the highlights:

• April 23-27:  $600 BSPO Deepstack Kick Off ($1,000,000 guaranteed) with 6 flights, big blind rewind on Day 2, and livestreamed final table
• April 26-30:  $1,000 BetMGM Poker Hybrid Championship ($200,000 guaranteed) starting online April 26 with live and livestreamed final table at Borgata April 30
• April 28-May 1:  $500 BSPO Borgata Almighty Stack ($750,000 guaranteed) with 6 flights and livestreamed final table
• May 3:  $250 BetMGM Poker Sunday Main Event ($100,000) online only
• May 3-8:  $2,700 BSPO Championship ($1,000,000 guaranteed) with 3 flights, livestreamed feature tables on Day 2 & Day 3, livestreamed final table
• May 4:  $160 BetMGM Poker Progressive Bounty Shootout ($10,000 guaranteed) with a Championship seat for the winner
• May 6-8:  $580 BSPO Monster Mirror Mystery Bounty ($250,000 guaranteed) with 4 flights and mystery bounties beginning Day 2 to mirror prize pool

The secondary schedule that runs April 22 to May 8 also has numerous highlights, including qualifiers for higher buy-in events on the BSPO main schedule starting at just $80. There are also three BetMGM Poker online-only events (in addition to the May 3rd Sunday Main listed above), each a $100 buy-in Weekly Wednesday C-Note and each with a $25,000 guarantee. All of the secondary, main, and online events count toward the BetMGM Poker Leaderboard competition.

Speaking of this leaderboard, for which all players in all live and online events qualify, the competition will award points for all cashes based on position, number of entries, and payouts. Most of the events will take place at Borgata, but online events on the Borgata Spring Poker Open schedule count as well. Simply make sure to have a BetMGM Poker account in good standing to participate.

Did we mention that there is $55,000 available for the top finishers in the leaderboard competition? That’s an important point!

Livestreams Galore

As noted on some of the biggest events in the highlights section above, several final tables and some featured tables in the Championship will be livestreamed on the BetMGM YouTube channel. But there will be more!

Four cash games will be livestreamed as follows:

• April 28 at 6 p.m.:  PLO cash game
• April 29 at 6 p.m.:  Ladies “pink chip” cash game
• May 2 at 6 p.m.:  Borgata big cash game
• May 5 at 6 p.m.:  Borgata $2/$5 cash game

As for the $2/$5 game, Borgata regulars have a chance to win a seat in that live game with a free buy-in by playing at the regular cash game tables April 4 through May 4.

PLO Player Special at Borgata

Borgata wants to highlight the Pot Limit Omaha events on the schedule, so there is now a special offer available for April 26-29. The four-night stay will have a special rate if booked before April 6, and those who take advantage of this special will be guaranteed a seat at a MUG (meet-up game) hosted by BetMGM Poker Ambassador Darren Elias and may be able to play in the livestreamed PLO cash game.

Ways to Qualify and Win Borgata Spring Poker Open Seats

As always, BetMGM Poker and Borgata want to offer satellites and qualifiers so players of all poker bankrolls can get in on the action. For a fraction of the actual buy-ins, there are options online and throughout the series at Borgata itself.

BetMGM Poker Online Satellites

On BetMGM Poker, the daily qualifiers start on April 12. And there will be quite a lot of them, starting at just $2!

• $10 qualifiers → $160 seats to BetMGM PKO Bounty Shootout
• $50 qualifiers → $500 seats to Almighty Stack, $580 seats to Super Deep 6-Max and Monster Mirror Mystery Bounty, $600 seats to Deepstack Kickoff, and $650 seats to Pot Limit Omaha Championship
• $250 qualifiers → $2,700 seats to BSPO Championship

Take note, though, that the $250 direct qualifiers to the BSPO Championship are already underway!

All players who win seats to live Borgata Spring Poker Open events will also receive a travel credit, which will vary based on the state of qualification (New Jersey, Michigan, or Pennsylvania). Check each qualifier for the total prize amount.

Specifically for the $1,000 buy-in Hybrid Championship, there are steps and direct satellites:

• $25 direct qualifier → $1,000 seats to Hybrid Championship
• $2 Step 1 satellite → $10 Step 2 tickets
• $10 Step 2 satellite → $100 Step 3 tickets
• $100 Step 3 satellite → $1,000 seats to Hybrid Championship

Live Satellites at Borgata

As a part of the secondary schedule, which contains an additional 33 events interspersed throughout the Borgata Spring Poker Open, a number of them are qualifiers. Players can get into the Almighty for as little as $80 and the Deepstack Kick Off for just $90. There are some specials on April 22:

• Borgata Big 4:  $510 satellite to win seats into Events 1, 12, 16, and 22
• Out the Gate:  $230 satellite to win seats into Events 1, 12, and 16
• $1.5K Your Way:  $200 satellite to win $1,500 worth of buy-ins

The biggest qualifier will be on May 3, a mega qualifier for the BSPO Championship with a buy-in of $320 and 10 seats (each seat worth $2,700) guaranteed. One in ten players will win a seat.
