Win a Baseball Jersey
Ordinarily, BetMGM Poker tournament series highlights some of the events as trophy tournaments. In the BetMGM Summer Classic, players will receive specially-made BetMGM Poker baseball jerseys for those special events.
There will be one jersey event per day during the series, except for July 21 when there will be two jersey events that evening.
When players log on to play poker online at BetMGM, they will find the full schedule for the state in which they’re playing – New Jersey, Michigan, or Pennsylvania. The buy-ins are the same across the three states, though the prize pool guarantees vary slightly.
The Summer Classic jersey events for all three states will be as follows:

How to Play the BetMGM Summer Classic
The easiest way to play the events of the Summer Classic is to buy in directly at the starting time or during the late registration period.
Of course, all players don’t have the $100 or $250 or $1,000 buy-ins handy. That’s what satellites and qualifiers are for! They’re like playing minor league baseball with a scout waiting to take the best hitters directly to the majors.
Players will find numerous ways to qualify for the Summer Classic events at drastically discounted prices. Win a satellite to qualify for a next satellite or direct tournament entry.
Summer Classic Pick-a-Card Promotion
The famous Pick-a-Card promotion is back, this time for the BetMGM Poker Summer Classic. It works in coordination with BRPs (BetMGM Rewards Points), which players earn through simply playing poker on the site in cash games or tournaments.
By earning 20 BRPs in a single day, players then qualify for the Pick-a-Card promotion. This starts on July 12 and runs through July 20. Players who qualify will receive a notification to play Pick-a-Card. The cards available will reflect these prizes, and the player will win one of them:
- $1,000 Summer Classic tournament ticket (like a home run)
- $100 Summer Classic qualifier ticket (hitting a triple)
- $10 Summer Classic qualifier ticket (hitting a double, halfway to home)
- $2 Summer Classic qualifier ticket (on first base, a few more bases to go to get home)
The best part of this promotion, as always, is that players can qualify once per day July 12-20.
Don’t forget that BRP Power Hours run daily from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., and players earn double the normal amount of points during that time.
