It’s official! The Borgata Poker Open (BPO) powered by BetMGM is returning to Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City, New Jersey September 3-17. The schedule is out and BetMGM Poker is already running qualifiers online.

Complete with a full series of events across two weeks at the beginning of September, there will be $4 million in guaranteed prize pools. Powered by BetMGM, the Borgata Poker Open Returns September 3

Anyone who follows Borgata Director of Poker Operations Kellie deCelis on social media knows that she has been expressing her excitement about the upcoming iteration of the BPO for months. The first teaser on July 3 started the ball rolling, and deCelis has been promoting the series ever since.

The official schedule offers 30 primary events on the “main event schedule,” four special cash games to be featured on the livestream, one featured BetMGM Online Hybrid Championship, 13 secondary events, and a slew of in-person qualifiers for various events.

That’s a lot of poker, all taking place at the Borgata Event Center and poker room at the best place for poker on the East Coast.

Borgata Poker Open and BetMGM Featured Events

As noted, there are dozens of tournaments that will take place September 3-17 at Borgata. The full schedule is on the Borgata poker section of the website. Note that there are No Limit Hold’em and Omaha events, as well as mixed games and even Deuce to Seven Triple Draw, survivor and knockout events, and bounties and heads-up tournaments. There will be a Ladies Championship on September 7 and a Seniors Championship the day before.
