After a successful launch in New Jersey last year, BetMGM Poker US’s Cash Drop Feature, Hot Tables, has gone live in MI & PA. Find out more.
BetMGM Poker US Network has expanded its popular online poker cash drops feature. Hot Tables is now active on poker online games in Michigan and Pennsylvania following its successful launch in New Jersey towards the end of 2022.
Poker players in NJ have been relishing the Hot Tables promotion for some time now. The wildly successful cash drop feature from BetMGM’s US Networks gives random cash prizes at cash game tables.
People who play poker online in Michigan and Pennsylvania can now also enjoy Hot Tables. With this expanded feature players can win additional cash on top of their winnings every time a “hot” table is triggered.
How Does the Promotion Work?
Every registered BetMGM player in MI and PA can participate in the popular promotion, but there are a few rules and regulations.
The promotion is only available at Texas Hold-em cash tables, including the FastForward variant, and there must be at least three players at a table for it to be eligible for the drop feature to be triggered.
The promotion has a five-tiered reward program according to table stakes, as follows:
- Bronze: $0.10/$0.25
- Silver: $0.25/$0.50
- Gold: $0.50/$1.00
- Platinum: $1.00/$2.00
- Diamond: $2.50/$5.00
Hot Tables, which will run throughout 2023, offers cash drops as high as 300 big blinds for high stakes and 200 big blinds for low stakes. The maximum top prize is $1,500.
The winner of the hand in the Bronze and Silver tiers will take home 100% of the cash drop bonus, while the winner of Gold through Diamond will receive 50% of the bonus, with the rest split between the remaining players.
Cash Drops Are an Increasingly Popular Promotional Feature
Cash Drops are proving to be a hot promotional feature in the online gambling industry. The first official cash drop was launched in 2019 and has only increased in popularity since then. BetMGM is the first operator to introduce this format of cash drop in the regulated US market.
In a press release earlier this year, Luke Staudenmaier, Director of Poker at BetMGM, stated, “The Hot Tables feature gives grinders, recreational players and everyone in-between a chance at the same life-changing prizing that BetMGM Casino players regularly enjoy through our jackpot network.”
