• 7:30 pm:  $25 Sunday Quarter ($10,000 guaranteed)
• 8:05 pm:  $100 Sunday PLO (Pot Limit Omaha) ($7,500 guaranteed)
• 8:30 pm:  $50 Sunday PKO (Progressive Knockout) ($7,500 guaranteed)

Note that most tournaments are No Limit Hold’em unless PLO is in the tournament title. And PKO always stands for progressive knockout bounty tournaments.

To find out what satellites are running for a particular event, simply select the tournament, go to the satellites tab, and view the options. They are usually hyper-turbo satellites, and they start at just $2 or $5 for most events. This is the way that many people with smaller bankrolls stay within their proper bankroll management – qualifying for a larger event – and even a min-cash will produce a solid return on investment.

Looking at the weekly lineup (Monday through Friday), there are recurring events that offer some variety.

• 8:30 pm:  $250 Wednesday PLO ($10,000 guaranteed)

Thursday Lineup

Another trio of different options every Thursday provides bounties, deep stacks, and the throwback rebuy and add-on:

• 7:30 pm:  $250 Thursday PKO ($25,000 guaranteed)
• 8:05 pm:  $100 Thursday 40-Stack PKO ($10,000 guaranteed)
• 8:30 pm:  $50 Thursday R&A (rebuy and add-on) ($8,000 guaranteed)

Friday Lineup

Finally, to round out the weekdays, three tournaments on Friday night will ease you into the weekend. And those three are:

Saturday Tournament Schedule at BetMGM Poker

Saturdays are a bit light as far as weeklies go, since players repeatedly emphasize that they’d rather take care of other business on Saturdays and reserve Sundays for online poker. For that reason, BetMGM offers two bounty tournaments on Saturday nights:

• 7:30 pm:  $250 Saturday PKO ($15,000 guaranteed)
• 8:30 pm:  $50 Saturday PLO PKO ($5,000 guaranteed)

As mentioned before, there will always be satellites available for weekly tournaments – even daily poker tournaments – which are shown under the satellites tab in the tournament you seek to qualify for. 

How to Find Weeklies at BetMGM

There’s an easy way to spot weekly tournaments in the poker lobby, as they’re all labeled Big Shots in bright red lettering. The Big Shots series is the weekly BetMGM casino poker tournament schedule and allows players to easily spot the events while scrolling through the options. Or you can type Big Shots into the search bar to see everything on tap for the entire week.

If you’re looking for a particular day, you can type, for example, Monday into the search bar, and the Monday weeklies will be the only tournaments that display. 

Keep in mind that there will be times that Big Shots might be missing from the BetMGM poker tournament schedule, and this will only happen if they’re replaced by something bigger and better. The poker team will do this when a series happens, like the Club Championship or Gridiron Classic. Any large tournament series will replace the weeklies – sometimes with different buy-ins but always with better guarantees. 

Level of Poker Play in Weekly Tournaments

Players of all bankrolls and skill levels play in BetMGM tournaments. The higher buy-ins on weeknights are likely to attract more professional or semi-pro poker players, whereas a greater variety shows up on Sundays due to the number of buy-in options available.
